Mustafa Curry is the Founder and CEO of The Business Credit Consultants, where he helps contractors and business owners gain access to capital by building strong, bankable business credit.

Originally from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Mustafa combines disciplined leadership, real-world financial experience, and hands-on insight into how capital decisions are actually made. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Tennessee State University, after completing his Associate of Arts degree at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

During college, Mustafa played Division I basketball as a starting Point Guard, an experience that shaped his leadership style, strategic thinking, and ability to perform under pressure - qualities that continue to define his professional approach today.

After graduation, Mustafa moved to New York City, where he gained early operational leadership experience managing a telecommunications company. He later transitioned into the financial services industry, where he spent over a decade working within a top Fortune 500 institution. During this time, he held multiple roles across consumer and business banking, including credit-focused and advisory positions that gave him direct exposure to how lenders evaluate risk, structure approvals, and assess creditworthiness.

In addition to his corporate banking background, Mustafa has worked with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Loan Specialist, assisting business owners through the capital approval process and gaining firsthand insight into why many businesses are denied funding, not because of revenue, but because of improper credit structure.

Today, Mustafa applies this combined experience to help contractors and business owners do what most never learn how to do correctly: build business credit the right way.

Through a structured, education-first 3-step business credit building process, Mustafa has helped hundreds of businesses position themselves for capital access, allowing them to stabilize cash flow, invest in equipment, fund operations, and grow with confidence.
